This full-time position is open to Saudi Nationals and is located in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The role is essential for maintaining high standards of food preparation and guest service within a luxury resort environment.

Positioned within the Kingdom's groundbreaking Red Sea Project, Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea is a nature-focused resort designed to set new standards in sustainable development. The property features 361 rooms, eleven distinct dining concepts, including an overwater restaurant with views of the Red Sea and mangroves, and a Spa. It is situated adjacent to an 18-hole championship golf course, reflecting Fairmont's association as a world-class golf destination. The project is located on 200km of untouched coastline, an archipelago of over 90 unspoiled islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine habitats, and ancient archaeological sites.

Core Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chef De Partie, the Demi Chef De Partie will be responsible for the following:

• Consistently offering professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues.
• Ensuring consistency in the preparation of all food items for à la carte and/or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Actively sharing ideas, opinions, and suggestions in daily shift briefings.
• Ensuring all kitchen colleagues are aware of established standards and expectations.
• Liaising daily with Outlet Chefs to maintain open lines of communication regarding guest feedback.
• Completing daily checks of all mise en place to ensure freshness and quality standards.
• Maintaining proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage and spoilage.
• Possessing full knowledge of all menu items, daily features, and promotions.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Following all kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Adhering to all safety and sanitation policies when handling food.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:

• Previous experience in the culinary field is required.
• Journeyman’s papers or an international equivalent are required.
• Regional experience is a must.
