About the Role

Fairmont The Red Sea is seeking a Front Office Agent to join their team in Umluj. This full-time position involves being the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience throughout their stay at the luxury resort. The role requires managing guest interactions with efficiency and warmth, contributing to overall guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate guest check-in and check-out processes with attention to detail and hospitality standards.
  • Manage guest reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, working towards satisfactory resolutions.
  • Provide concierge services, offering recommendations for local attractions, dining, and activities in Umluj.
  • Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately and securely.
  • Communicate effectively with guests via phone, email, and in-person interactions in a friendly and empathetic manner.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Maintain the front desk area in an organized and professional manner.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing guest needs and maintaining composure during busy periods.
  • Uphold Fairmont service standards and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably within a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Experience in pre-opening stages of a hotel, including project coordination, scheduling, and document control, is essential.
  • Understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
  • A proactive and anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with luxury standards.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Fluency in Arabic and English; additional language skills are considered a strong asset.
  • Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) and reservation software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • A professional demeanor with a customer-focused mindset and a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Problem-solving abilities and experience in conflict resolution.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and transactions.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian hospitality standards and cultural awareness.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
