Annotator (English) AI Trainer

About the Role

Mindrift is seeking a Freelance Annotator (English) - AI Trainer to participate in project-based opportunities focused on testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems. This is a part-time, remote, freelance position, not permanent employment, and is compensated per accepted task.

Role Context

Annotation is fundamental to how AI systems interpret information. As an Annotator, you will be invited to participate in online projects that involve tasks such as rating AI-generated content, evaluating factual accuracy, or comparing responses, subject to project availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully review provided data, which may include text, images, or videos.
• Label or classify content in accordance with specific project guidelines.
• Identify and flag material that is factually incorrect, sensitive, inappropriate, or unclear.

Project Expectations and Compensation

During active project phases, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10-20 hours per week, based on project requirements. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload, applicable only while a project is active. All tasks must be submitted by their deadlines and meet specified acceptance criteria. Compensation is provided per accepted task, with rates varying based on qualification tier and task efficiency, up to the equivalent of $15 per hour. A faster pace can increase the effective hourly rate, provided quality standards are consistently maintained.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience required.
• Ability to review and classify various forms of content accurately.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory for this role.
