The Role of QA Technician

Almarai is seeking a QA Technician to join its team. This full-time role involves coordinating all Quality-related aspects within Poultry Operations, under the guidance of the SQAM/DQAM: Poultry. The QA Technician will assist the Quality team within the plant to effectively manage all aspects of quality control and assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all Quality aspects within Poultry Operations.
• Assist the Quality team in managing quality processes effectively.
• Conduct Quality awareness programs independently.
• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of quality systems and audits.
• Communicate effectively with a multinational workforce regarding quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Services or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a Quality role within a Meat Processing Plant, with a preference for poultry experience.
• Familiarity with best practice Quality standards, including those outlined by APD and ISO 22000:2005.
• Experience at a supervisory level.

Required Skills

• Good working knowledge of Quality standards.
• Ability to conduct Quality awareness programs independently.
• Proficiency in managing quality systems and audits.
• Effective communication skills with a multinational workforce.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
