The Role: Crypto Operations Associate EMEA Coverage

Alpaca is seeking a Crypto Operations Associate for EMEA coverage. This full-time role, based remotely with core hours aligned to 9 AM to 5 PM PT, involves critical daily operational tasks and monitoring within the cryptocurrency domain. The associate will contribute to the company's rapid growth by ensuring efficient and compliant operations, supporting customer activities, and driving workflow improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily monitoring and surveillance of all customer activity.
• Manage daily operational tasks including trading, new accounts, and cash management functions.
• Execute cryptocurrency trades and handle exceptions such as errors and corrections.
• Assist with customer onboarding processes, including Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures and account approvals.
• Review general ledger accounts, identify, and reconcile account discrepancies.
• Support the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and investigations related to suspected suspicious activity.
• Proactively implement changes to workflows, policies, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively and insightfully with internal and external partners.
• Perform ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Work Environment
