Expert Integration Engineer

About the Role

Integrated Solutions Tawantech is seeking an Expert Integration Engineer to design and govern complex enterprise integration solutions. This full-time role focuses on ensuring secure, scalable, reliable, and efficient connectivity across various applications, platforms, partners, and external services. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to serve as a senior technical authority for enterprise integration within the technology estate. The Expert Integration Engineer will be responsible for defining integration standards, patterns, protocols, and engineering practices to support robust and compliant system connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design complex integration architectures, APIs, interfaces, and messaging solutions.
• Lead the technical implementation of critical system integrations with partners, schemes, and internal platforms.
• Develop synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, and API-based integration solutions.
• Build and govern integrations on the enterprise integration stack, including IBM ACE/API Connect, MQ, and Kafka.
• Manage the API lifecycle, covering versioning, gateway policies, and consumer onboarding.
• Ensure integrations meet security, performance, availability, and scalability requirements.
• Apply security controls for partner connectivity, such as mTLS, certificate management, encryption, and secure key handling.
• Verify that integrations satisfy regulatory, audit, and change-governance requirements.
• Review integration designs and implementations for architectural compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and production issues across system boundaries.
• Optimize integration performance, reliability, monitoring, error handling, and reconciliation processes.
• Identify integration risks, dependencies, and technical debt, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Mentor integration engineers and contribute to enterprise integration architecture initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in integration engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to design and govern complex enterprise integration solutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration stacks such as IBM ACE/API Connect, MQ, and Kafka.
• Understanding of API lifecycle management and security controls for partner connectivity.
