About the Role
Le Meridien is seeking a Human Resources Manager (Saudi National Only) to join its team. This full-time role involves working with Human Resources staff to manage daily HR office activities, including recruitment, total compensation, and training and development. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for delivering HR services that meet employee needs and support business success, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in interviewing and hiring Human Resources team members as needed.
- Establish and maintain contact with external recruitment sources and attend job fairs.
- Oversee candidate identification and selection processes, providing expertise to property managers.
- Partner with vendors to ensure effective advertisement for open positions.
- Work with unemployment service providers to respond to claims and ensure proper representation at hearings.
- Ensure resources are available for administering employee benefits.
- Support departmental orientation and ongoing training initiatives for employees.
- Collaborate with management to ensure effective new hire training and cross-training.
- Assist in maintaining effective employee communication channels and review progressive discipline documentation.
- Address employee problems and concerns, escalating issues to the Director of Human Resources when necessary.
- Partner with Loss Prevention for employee accident investigations.
- Ensure employee files are properly maintained, secured, and compliant with privacy regulations.
- Facilitate drug testing processes where applicable and communicate property rules via the employee handbook.
- Ensure all safety and security policies are communicated regularly to employees.
- Conduct periodic claims reviews and represent Human Resources at the property Safety Committee.
- Manage Workers' Compensation claims to ensure appropriate employee care and cost management.
- Oversee selection/non-selection and offer processes to ensure proper procedures are followed.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment, total compensation, and training and development programs.
- Strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures.
- Experience in administering employee benefits and managing employee relations.
- Proficiency in maintaining compliance with HR legal and ethical practices.
