ACWA Power is seeking an experienced I&C Supervisor to join their operations team. This full-time position is based in Saudi Arabia and involves supervising instrumentation maintenance activities across various power and desalination plants.

Role Overview

The I&C Supervisor is responsible for overseeing preventive, corrective, and condition-based instrumentation maintenance. This role ensures the reliability of plant instrumentation, accuracy of process measurements, and safe execution of work. The supervisor will also manage the deployment of maintenance personnel during routine operations, planned outages, and overhauls within RO desalination and CCGT power plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance for instrumentation and control systems.
• Oversee the inspection, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various instruments including pressure, flow, level, conductivity, pH, analysers, actuators, and control valves.
• Coordinate instrumentation maintenance for RO desalination systems or CCGT turbines, HRSGs, steam-water systems, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Lead instrumentation technicians in troubleshooting, calibration, loop checks, functional testing, planned outages, and equipment overhauls.
• Supervise approved interlock testing and ensure control logic or setpoint changes adhere to established authorization and change-control procedures.
• Ensure proper implementation of equipment isolation, permit-to-work requirements, and safe return-to-service procedures.
• Manage maintenance work orders using CMMS/SAP, review P&IDs, loop and logic diagrams, and coordinate spare parts, tools, and maintenance resources.
• Provide technical guidance, on-the-job training, and performance supervision, while ensuring compliance with HSE and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in instrumentation supervision.
• Demonstrated experience in RO desalination and/or CCGT power plants.

Work Conditions

• This is a plant-based position located in Saudi Arabia.
• Availability to support planned outages, equipment overhauls, and emergency maintenance activities is required.
