Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE), a subsidiary of Red Sea Global, is responsible for designing and delivering land and marine experiences at The Red Sea destination. RSSE manages and operates a portfolio of sports, adventure, and leisure offerings, including water sports through Galaxea, adventure activities via Akun, and leisure experiences delivered by WAMA. Role Overview: Instructor - Adventure

The Instructor - Adventure plays a frontline role within The Red Sea destination, focusing on delivering safe, engaging, and memorable inland adventure experiences under the Akun Adventure portfolio. This full-time position supports the development of diverse trails and adventure activities, ensuring guest experiences align with Red Sea Sport & Entertainment standards. The Instructor collaborates with senior instructors, operations teams, and resort colleagues, leading adventure activities while upholding safety, environmental stewardship, and customer service. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and support the operation of all inland, land-based adventure activities across The Red Sea destination.
• Lead guests on Akun Adventure experiences, ensuring safety, engagement, and a premium outdoor experience.
• Conduct pre-activity briefings, including safety instructions, risk awareness, and experience expectations.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, SOPs, RAMS, and emergency procedures during all activities.
• Educate guests on environmental awareness, conservation principles, and responsible outdoor behavior.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming, and service-oriented approach when interacting with guests.
• Monitor weather conditions, terrain, and guest capability, adjusting activity plans as needed.
• Assist with trail exploration and assessment to identify optimal routes for adventure experiences.
• Support trip planning, logistics, equipment preparation, and vehicle readiness.
• Provide feedback, operational insights, and incident reports to the Senior Instructor and RSSE management.
• Support the maintenance and care of all adventure equipment, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in the training, mentoring, and development of Adventure Specialists and junior team members.
• Promote and embody the Red Sea service style, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality guest experiences.
• Comply with all RSSE and Red Sea Global policies, processes, SOPs, and operational guidelines.
• Support the preparation of accurate and timely operational reports and MIS data.
• Apply safety, quality, and environmental management policies to ensure employee and guest safety and regulatory compliance.
• Actively contribute to a strong safety culture by identifying hazards, reporting risks, and supporting risk mitigation.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across adventure operations and guest experiences.

Stakeholder Collaboration

The Instructor will collaborate with internal stakeholders including Senior Instructors, Adventure Operations, RSSE Operations Teams, and Resort & Hospitality Teams. External interactions will involve Guests, Local Authorities, and Environmental & Outdoor Activity Partners.

Work Environment and Expectations

This role operates primarily in outdoor and remote environments across The Red Sea destination. It requires physical fitness, environmental awareness, and flexibility in working hours. The Instructor is expected to represent Akun Adventure and Red Sea Sport & Entertainment with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm at all times, maintaining positive conduct with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders.
