Inventory Executive

About the Role

Sharaf DG is seeking an Inventory Executive to manage day-to-day inventory activities at the store level. This full-time role is crucial for maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring proper stock handling, and complying with Sharaf DG's inventory procedures. The position requires 2-8 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, count, verify, and properly store incoming stock.
• Prepare and process Goods Received Notes (GRNs) against Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) and invoices.
• Verify received quantities and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/POS system.
• Conduct regular stock counting, verification, and reconciliation activities.
• Support Perpetual Inventory (PI) counts, SNP reports, and annual stocktaking processes.
• Prepare Purchase Return (PRET) and Long-Term Inventory (LTI) documents as required.
• Identify and manage Brand Promise products, ensuring timely handover.
• Prepare and update Purchase Return (PR) reports as needed.
• Manage and maintain the stockroom in an organized, safe, and secure manner.
• Monitor and report on damaged, excess, shortage, ageing, and non-moving stock.
• Coordinate stock transfers between stores, ensuring proper documentation and system updates.
• Manage High-Value Stock (HVS) activities and maintain accurate inventory logbooks.
• Ensure display items are properly authorized and updated in the system.
• Support the investigation and resolution of stock discrepancies and inventory variances.
• Ensure timely closure of all inventory transactions in the ERP/POS system.
• Adhere to inventory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, audit requirements, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with Store Management, Merchandising, Finance, Warehouse, Sales, and Operations teams on inventory-related matters.

• Inventory accuracy and stock variance control.
• Accuracy of GRN and system transactions.
• Effectiveness in controlling stock discrepancy and shrinkage.
• Timeliness of PI counts and stocktaking.
• Accuracy of purchase returns.
• Stockroom organization and efficiency.
• Accuracy of stock transfers.
• Compliance with inventory audit requirements.
• Timeliness of inventory reporting.
• Adherence to inventory SOPs and processes.

Overall Responsibility

The Inventory Executive is responsible for ensuring accurate, organized, and efficient inventory operations at the store. This includes maintaining stock accuracy, availability, proper documentation, and full compliance with Sharaf DG's established inventory procedures.
