Junior Application Engineer CMD

The Opportunity

Zahid Tractor is seeking a Junior Application Engineer-CMD to join its team. This is a full-time position designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to technical application support within a dynamic environment.

Role Overview

The Junior Application Engineer-CMD will collaborate closely with the PSD senior technical office. The primary focus of this role is to meticulously study customer specifications, provide clear responses to technical clarifications, and coordinate pricing arrangements with the Head Office to ensure all client and consultant requirements are effectively met.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical backup to the sales force to ensure customer requirements are fully addressed.
• Prepare technical data for non-standard quotations, compliance/deviation statements, and technical submittals based on information and specifications supplied by sales or customers.
• Conduct site visits to gather technical data required for quoting or attend technical resolution meetings to assist customers in making decisions related to power systems.
• Assist the Product Support Department with technical issues related to brand new products.
• Communicate with suppliers of attachments for Gen-set products to obtain quotations, place orders, and approve drawings.
• Offer technical assistance to customers to ensure compatibility between Zahid-supplied equipment and other systems.
• Specify the correct equipment to meet customer requirements at the most competitive price levels.
• Ensure machinery is delivered and commissioned within the contract timescale and quoted costs.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Internal Collaboration

The role involves regular interaction with internal stakeholders. The engineer will engage with the Service Operations Manager and Parts Operations Manager to request support for malfunctions found in brand new machines and to provide necessary details for arranging parts packages. Additionally, the role requires communication with the Industry Manager at Head Office to submit region’s pricing requests for non-standard items and follow up on their status.

External Engagement

Externally, the Junior Application Engineer-CMD will interact directly with customers for technical resolution. The role also involves engaging with Zahid Industries to request fabrication and quotations for sound-attenuated enclosures and electrical panels.

Candidates for this position must possess 0-1 years of professional experience in an application engineering or a related technical support role.
