Lead Developer

About the Role

iSolution is seeking a Lead Developer to guide the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications. This full-time role involves providing technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, secure, and standard-compliant code. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment phases of software applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, security, and adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to define technical solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical tasks and oversee their implementation.
• Drive Agile development practices, including sprint planning and technical estimations.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Promote DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software engineering best practices.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend improvements in processes and technology.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership capacity.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience with modern frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and system design.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading distributed or remote engineering teams.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and container orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
