Role Overview

The Lead Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining operational workflows and governance frameworks within the Treasury organization. This full-time role involves ensuring compliance, operational resilience, and alignment with broader company strategies through effective policy and procedure management. The analyst will serve as a primary advisor on governance-related matters for affiliates and contribute to process automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current business processes to determine documentation requirements, gather information through research, SME interviews, and document reviews.
  • Develop, document, and maintain desktop procedures detailing operational workflows for Treasury functions.
  • Manage the documentation of policies, procedures, and guidelines within the Treasury organization, collaborating with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and manage Treasury policies to enhance organizational agility, ensure compliance, and align with company strategy.
  • Write various types of documentation, including operational procedures, manuals, job aids, forms, and reference guides.
  • Create, update, improve, and publish physical and electronic policy documentation.
  • Perform regular assessments on document effectiveness and periodically review and update policies to align with corporate goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Manage regular reviews with SMEs to maintain document accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in project teams and recommend necessary documents and information to achieve business goals.
  • Communicate with users to understand information consumption and determine effective delivery methods.
  • Serve as the primary advisor for affiliates on Treasury governance, evaluating frameworks for alignment with corporate policies and recommending corrective actions.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for stakeholders on protocols, policies, and guidelines.
  • Monitor emerging trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to enhance the governance framework and propose solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks by embedding control measures within policies and operational frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to automate manual procedures for improved process efficiency.
  • Organize, publish, and maintain documents in SharePoint or similar document management systems for accessibility.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Membership in a professional body such as ACA/ACMA/CPA or equivalent is essential.
  • Familiarity with process mapping tools, compliance software, project management capabilities, and writing tools.
  • Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
