About the Role

GREENLAND GROUP is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the operational efficiency of machinery through comprehensive maintenance activities. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various mechanical systems. This involves a proactive approach to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous, smooth operation of equipment within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance checks, including lubrication of moving parts and replacement of worn components to prevent machine failures.
• Diagnose mechanical malfunctions, repair or replace broken parts such as valves, bearings, belts, and gears, and reassemble equipment accurately.
• Install new machinery, ensuring proper alignment and calibration, and conduct test runs to verify system functionality.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain detailed documentation of parts used, repairs performed, and equipment status updates for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency in installing, aligning, and calibrating machinery.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety compliance, including LOTO procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance activities.
