Mechanical Project Engineer

About the Role

APEX Industrial Services is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience and focuses on the supervision and execution of fire protection systems within industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute fire protection systems in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Manage site activities, including manpower, materials, and subcontractors, to ensure timely project execution.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, clients, consultants, and other disciplines.
• Supervise the installation of fire water networks, fire pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, deluge, foam, and clean agent systems.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and project handover processes.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, HCIS, SBC, SAES, and specific project requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and support the creation of as-built and project close-out documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Fire Protection / Firefighting Systems and site execution.
• Good knowledge of NFPA and Saudi standards.
• Strong site supervision, coordination, and communication skills are essential.
• Experience with industrial projects, particularly Aramco/HCIS projects, is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, involving on-site project supervision and coordination within an industrial setting.
