The Role of Medical Representative - CVRM

AstraZeneca is seeking a Medical Representative for the Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolism (CVRM) team. This full-time position is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The successful applicant will be part of a growing team, responsible for influencing customers' prescribing behavior to achieve sales targets. The role involves developing territory and building strong customer relationships to maximize sales volume and market share for designated products.

Key Responsibilities

• Successfully complete all required training and product examinations.
• Engage primary care healthcare professionals in discussions regarding approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals within the assigned territory.
• Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relevant to the sales territory.
• Comply with all regulations concerning interactions with healthcare professionals and the distribution of samples.
• Ensure excellent medical knowledge and promotional skills related to the assigned disease area and product.
• Consult with and provide clinical and technical information to healthcare professionals within the assigned territory, in compliance with AstraZeneca policies.
