Faena The Red Sea is seeking a dedicated Order Taker to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is open exclusively to Saudi Nationals and is crucial for maintaining the resort's high standards of luxury hospitality.

Role Overview

The Order Taker is responsible for the accurate reception, processing, and coordination of guest food and beverage orders. This position ensures seamless communication between guests and the kitchen or service teams, delivering prompt, precise, and high-quality service consistent with the resort’s luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately record guest food and beverage orders through various channels, including phone and in-room dining systems.
• Ensure all orders are correctly entered into the ordering system, capturing full guest details and preferences.
• Communicate order details clearly and efficiently to kitchen and service teams.
• Confirm order specifics with guests, including menu items, modifications, allergies, and special requests.
• Provide comprehensive menu information, recommendations, and clarifications to guests as needed.
• Monitor order status to ensure timely preparation and coordinated delivery.
• Follow up on guest requests to ensure accuracy, satisfaction, and prompt service resolution.
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen, room service, and F&B teams for smooth order execution.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, charges, and transactions.
• Ensure the proper application of pricing, promotions, and service standards.
• Support the upselling of menu items and promotions where appropriate.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role requires the ability to endure various physical movements throughout work areas and to move safely in uneven terrain or confined spaces. It involves remaining active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout the work shift. This is considered Medium Work, occasionally exerting up to 20kg of force, frequently 10kg, and constantly moving objects up to 5kg. The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15kg is also required.
