POWER PLANT TECHNICIAN

About the Role

Dallah Healthcare is seeking a Power Plant Technician to perform semi-skilled and skilled tasks related to the preventive maintenance and test running of power generators. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Check Power Generators and the Power Plant System daily.
• Run Generator Sets without load every weekend and report to the Power Plant Supervisor.
• Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) for all Generator Sets, starting batteries, and control batteries.
• Conduct monthly PPM (W1) for each Generator set.
• Execute quarterly PPM (W2) for each Generator set.
• Perform annual PPM (W3) for each Generator set.
• Monitor the daily operation of fuel pumps and pre-heaters.
• Maintain and monitor the Engine Room.
• Record all readings from WH Meters for both Hospital and Housing facilities.
• Take hourly readings for MDB and transformer loads.
• Perform PPM for all electrical MDB, Switch Gear, and transformers within the Hospital & Housing Complex.
• Assist the Supervisor in all related tasks.

Operational Accountabilities

• Implement departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with JCI, ISO, and Aramco standards.
• Facilitate requirements of the Utility Management System relevant to organization-wide functions.
• Participate in indicator development and data collection to measure departmental performance.
• Conduct analysis and interpretation of collected data/information as required.
• Engage in hospital Safety Management & Risk Management Programs.
• Report incidents in the system and participate in incident review and root cause analysis when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience within a healthcare setting is required.
