Principal Electrical Design Engineer (Offshore)

About the Role

كيلوج براون اند روت is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer (Offshore) to join their team. This full-time position requires extensive experience in the design of substations, transmission, and distribution systems within the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon, and infrastructure industries. The role involves leading a significant team of electrical engineers and designers, contributing to conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering phases of medium to large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10 to 20 electrical engineers and designers.
• Develop discipline work plans.
• Perform and check electrical systems studies, including using tools such as ETAP.
• Prepare work-hour estimates for projects.
• Develop electrical equipment sizes and specifications.
• Perform and check power systems analyses.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team and clients.
• Ensure the design integrity of the electrical scope, manage the performance of assigned staff, and ensure on-schedule delivery of work within budget.
• Lead technical presentations to clients and their representatives as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon, petroleum refinery, offshore, and infrastructure industries is mandatory.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a large team of electrical engineers and designers is essential.
• Proven experience in Conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering for medium to large-scale projects.
