About the Role
Mogi I/O is seeking a Rig Operations Lead to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience. The Rig Operations Lead will be a results-oriented leader within the Operations department, responsible for the overall performance and profitability of assigned rigs.
Role Purpose and Scope
This leadership role encompasses Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), maintenance, operations, personnel management (including subcontractors), and asset protection/management. The successful candidate will be expected to foster a culture of excellence that prioritizes safety and collaboration, while building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient, cost-effective project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize day-to-day drilling operations to ensure efficiency and technical success.
- Manage the overall performance, profitability, and operational integrity of assigned rigs.
- Uphold stringent quality assurance standards, ensure compliance with HSE regulations, and lead safety initiatives across the operation.
- Lead, motivate, and manage multiple drilling crews, including subcontractors, and oversee personnel training and development.
- Coordinate rig logistics, supply chains, and external support services to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, building positive, long-lasting relationships, and addressing stakeholder needs effectively.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Proven track record of leading, managing, and motivating multiple drilling crews.
- Extensive, hands-on experience in managing all aspects of wellbore operations.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize drilling performance, reduce operational costs, and consistently meet project timelines.
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations and a proven commitment to safety leadership.
- Solid experience in building and maintaining positive client and internal stakeholder relationships.
Work Environment
This full-time role is based in Saudi Arabia and involves working within a dynamic operations department, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
