About the Role
Mogi I/O is seeking a Rig Manager to join its operations in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and involves taking overall responsibility for the performance and profitability of assigned rigs within the Operations department. The Rig Manager will lead a culture of excellence, prioritizing safety and collaboration, while building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Role Purpose
The Rig Manager is a highly experienced and results-oriented leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of rig operations. This includes Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), maintenance, daily operations, personnel management (including subcontractors), and asset protection and management. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and cost-effective project completion through effective leadership and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and optimizing day-to-day drilling operations to ensure efficiency and technical success.
- Managing the overall performance, profitability, and operational integrity of assigned rigs.
- Upholding stringent quality assurance standards, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, and leading safety initiatives across the operation.
- Leading, motivating, and managing multiple drilling crews, including subcontractors, and overseeing personnel training and development.
- Coordinating rig logistics, supply chains, and external support services to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, building positive, long-lasting relationships, and addressing stakeholder needs effectively.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Proven track record of leading, managing, and motivating multiple drilling crews.
- Extensive, hands-on experience in managing all aspects of wellbore operations.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize drilling performance, reduce operational costs, and consistently meet project timelines.
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations and a proven commitment to safety leadership.
- Solid experience in building and maintaining positive client and internal stakeholder relationships.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; any graduation is accepted.
- A Technical Degree or Diploma in Drilling Technology or a related engineering field is highly preferred.
