The Role of Rotating Technician (Level II)

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Rotating Technician (Level II) to join its team. This is a full-time position based in the Eastern region, requiring 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role involves supervising maintenance activities, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with established standards and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to technicians and assemble the necessary team.
• Supervise all ongoing jobs and provide progress updates to the Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment, and material availability for tasks.
• Arrange necessary work permits prior to the commencement of work.
• Provide technical advice to technicians regarding the proper use of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to execute and complete jobs efficiently.
• Ensure accurate SAP data input, history, and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines in all activities.

Safety and Compliance

• Conduct Toolbox talks before commencing work.
• Ensure compliance with safe work practices, hazardous work regulations, and proper PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
• Encourage the reporting of Near Miss incidents, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts.
• Participate in Safety audits as required.
• Attend scheduled Safety and Technical training sessions.

Experience Required

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong background in rotating equipment maintenance and supervision.
