Role Summary

Faena The Red Sea is seeking a Security Supervisor to manage and oversee the day-to-day security operations at its resort in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring the safety and security of all guests, employees, and resort assets. The Security Supervisor will lead a team of security officers, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to incidents, maintaining a discreet and professional approach aligned with ultra-luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily security operations across assigned resort areas.
  • Lead and monitor security officers during patrols, shifts, and post assignments.
  • Ensure all access points, entrances, and restricted areas are properly controlled.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and security equipment to detect and respond to incidents.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
  • Report and document incidents accurately, escalating issues to the Security Manager when necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections of resort premises to identify safety or security risks.
  • Enforce resort security policies, procedures, and access control standards.
  • Assist in managing VIP guest security arrangements when required.
  • Support crowd control and safety measures during events, peak periods, and special operations.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping, and other departments for operational security needs.
  • Ensure proper handover between shifts and maintain accurate logbook records.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and briefings for security staff at the start of shifts.
  • Ensure all security personnel are properly groomed, trained, and following standards.
  • Assist in emergency response situations, including evacuations and drills.
  • Monitor contractor, vendor, and visitor access to ensure compliance with security procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all guest and operational matters.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for the Security Supervisor position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in security operations, ideally within a luxury hospitality environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires the ability to perform various physical movements throughout work areas, including safely navigating uneven terrain or confined spaces. The Security Supervisor may be active, constantly moving, or required to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods during a shift. The position involves medium work, occasionally exerting up to 20kg of force, frequently 10kg, and constantly moving objects up to 5kg, with occasional lifting and/or moving up to 15kg.
