About the Role

Waad Education is seeking a dedicated Shadow Teacher to join its Special Educational Needs (SEN) Department. This full-time role involves providing individualized support to students within the classroom, ensuring their effective engagement, participation, and integration into the learning environment.

Role Overview

The Shadow Teacher will work closely with students requiring special educational needs support. The primary objective is to facilitate student learning and social development by implementing tailored strategies and fostering an inclusive atmosphere. This position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 year of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
• Assist students with classroom participation and integration.
• Implement recommended educational, behavioral, and learning strategies.
• Support students in developing their academic, social, and communication skills.
• Monitor and document student progress and provide feedback to the SEN team.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEN specialists, and parents when required.
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is preferred.
• 0-1 year of experience is required for this role.
