Waad Education is seeking a dedicated Shadow Teacher to join its SEN Department in Jeddah, Makkah Province. This full-time role focuses on providing individualized support to students within the classroom, ensuring their effective engagement and integration into the learning environment.

Role Overview

The Shadow Teacher will work directly with students who have special educational needs. The primary objective is to facilitate student participation and integration by implementing tailored educational and behavioral strategies. This role is integral to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
• Assist students with classroom participation and integration into the learning environment.
• Implement recommended educational, behavioral, and learning strategies as directed.
• Support students in developing their academic, social, and communication skills.
• Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the SEN team.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEN specialists, and parents when required.
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and able to work effectively with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
