Storekeeper (Saudi Only)

About the Role

Sheraton is seeking a Storekeeper to join their team. This is a full-time position open to Saudi nationals with 0-1 years of experience. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing merchandise, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking items appropriately for placement.
• Deliver merchandise to the correct departments and stack received goods on pallets or carts.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notify management of low stock levels promptly.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables correctly, and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
• Inspect deliveries and date items to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality across all case lots.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures in all food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Communicate with guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience required (0-1 years).
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or Certification: None required.
