Team Leader Accommodation & Transportation

About the Role

As a Team Leader, Accommodation & Transportation at Catrion Group, you will be responsible for providing essential support to the site and team, ensuring adherence to company systems, and managing client relationships. This full-time role involves overseeing staff training, performance, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with the direct manager to ensure comprehensive support for the site and team.
• Ensure junior team members comply with Catrion systems and processes.
• Assist in training junior team members on the Catrion quality system through toolbox talks and in-post training.
• Support the completion of employee evaluations and appraisals, including improvement plans.
• Conduct regular area reviews to ensure team members meet performance standards.
• Promote opportunities for employee promotions.
• Comply with appropriate QHSE requirements.
• Deliver budgeted profit by managing food, labor, and overhead costs.
• Manage client relationships through regular interaction, resolving issues promptly without compromising project profitability.
• Attract and retain an experienced and effective management team and workforce to minimize staff turnover.
• Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained in accordance with the Catrion Quality Assurance Program.
• Report any stores shortages or required products to the team leader.
• Manage all camp/site administration.
• Assist the team leader in adhering to budgets for labor, food, cleaning materials, utensils, and other miscellaneous costs.
• Provide daily reports to own/client maintenance on technical support for preventive maintenance.
• Present a positive image of Catrion to clients and customers.
• Implement quality monitoring systems to measure customer satisfaction, client, and contract compliance.
• Accompany the team leader in representing the company in regular on-site client meetings, if requested.
• Train all site staff in the Catrion quality system to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Ensure staff are inducted in accordance with Catrion policies.
• Manage effective training and development for all team members, identifying any gaps to the direct line manager.
• Lead and communicate effectively to maintain high staff motivation levels.
• Assist in employee grievance management.
• Ensure daily material issuing aligns with unit budgets.
• Ensure an efficient Daily Walk Through process.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and client relationships.
• Proficiency in maintaining compliance with operational systems and quality assurance programs.
