The Opportunity: Warehouse Team Lead

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Team Lead to join our full-time operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient staging and management of finished goods within the warehouse, optimizing storage capacity, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance across all warehouse activities. The Warehouse Team Lead will play a key role in coordinating daily operations and supporting the broader supply chain objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the efficient staging and management of the finished goods warehouse.
  • Manage stock levels and allocations to ensure optimum storage capacity.
  • Ensure daily transactions and reconciliations are completed accurately.
  • Review all movements in SAP and perform weekly COSO Tests.
  • Maintain stock allocation and accuracy in SAP and related documentation.
  • Follow up with all systore activities and maintain outside picking area stock through daily reconciliation.
  • Ensure all slow/non-moving inventories are reported accurately and timely, issued according to FEFO guidelines or an agreed liquidation plan.
  • Ensure daily and monthly reports, including KPI, supply of wooden pallets for export, monthly Quality Hold report, Month End Closing, and local shipments, are accurately updated and delivered on time.
  • Follow up on shift activities and ensure all inbound and outbound flow adheres to company procedures and policies.
  • Inform the warehouse team about all new SKUs and related actions.
  • Track daily KPIs to ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Ensure equipment usage aligns with PepsiCo guidelines through periodic inspections, coordinating with the Engineering team for breakdowns.
  • Prepare the weekly plan and assign responsibilities/resources to cover production and sales requirements.
  • Track all Quality HOLD stock and follow up with the Quality and Production teams for liquidation.
  • Ensure daily and monthly inventory and variances are cleared timely.
  • Maintain all Food Safety standards by reviewing documents and aligning with the team in daily meetings.
  • Review SIT daily and communicate with concerned DCs and freight.
  • Perform pre-shift meetings to allocate daily tasks with necessary updates.
  • Execute important tasks delivered by management within the specified timeframe.
  • Comply with AIB standards to sustain superior ratings by following daily warehouse cleaning and reviewing documentation.
  • Participate in allocated projects for warehouse development to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Comply with all company procedures and policies.
  • Execute and follow up on all write-offs for disposal.
  • Follow up daily on all pending orders for shipments across all regions and channels with freight and planning.
  • Follow up with the Engineering Team for equipment services and yearly PM maintenance of systore.
  • Follow up on Mock recall timeline tracking with DCs to ensure effectiveness.
  • Execute employee samples within the timeframe.
  • Finalize and clear all Z-movements on a daily basis.
  • Ensure all GCC/EMED shipments are shipped as per regulatory standards.
  • Ensure shuttling trucks are available timely to fulfill Sulay DC sales requirements daily.
  • Ensure PIT procedure compliance with FLT operators and follow up with Fleet for FLT maintenance.
  • Upload incident reports in MYEHS with effective action plans for any incidents and near misses.
  • Acknowledge and review daily documents processed by the storekeeper.
  • Review and submit monthly timesheets for contract laborers to HR.
  • Update monthly FTE scheduling in Kronos and clear all exceptions, ensuring SWP and SOP implementation for all workflows.
  • Follow up on safety & forklift yearly training schedules for the crew to comply with the training matrix for safety awareness.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a supply chain role, with cross-functional experience, preferably within the FMCG business.
  • Additional experience in a food manufacturing-based organization is considered an advantage.
  • A degree in Commerce, Finance, or Technical studies.
  • A qualification in supply chain or warehousing management.

  • Quick adaptability to new technologies and a proactive approach to improving technical skills.
