The Role of HSE Manager

KBR is seeking an experienced HSE Manager/Safety Manager to join our team in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves establishing and monitoring an HSE Management System that complies with OHSAS and ISO standards, ensuring the company's adherence to these critical safety frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop all necessary documentation, operational checks, and reports for the HSE Management System to ensure compliance with OHSAS and ISO standards, including corrective and preventive measures.
• Oversee HSE controllers in conducting continuous audits and manage their audit schedules.
• Investigate the root causes of HSE complaints from staff members and report findings to the HSEQ manager.
• Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near-miss incidents.
• Audit work performed under "Safe Work Permits" to ensure compliance.
• Assist with the implementation of Job Safety Analysis and inspect job site activities during difficult or hazardous work situations.
• Support Company management in preparing and presenting field HSE meetings.
• Review and analyze accident and near-miss incidents, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
• Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to maintain a high level of preparedness. Maintain records of these drills and recommend improvements for emergency response.
• Assist in developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics, and presentations related to HSE performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant HSE role.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and monitor HSE Management Systems.
• Proficiency in OHSAS and ISO standards.
