About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time role involves supporting project execution by managing technical documentation, coordinating engineering deliverables, and ensuring construction activities align with design specifications. The Project Engineer will play a key role in facilitating communication and technical compliance throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

Review and manage engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
Coordinate technical queries (TQs) between the site, engineering teams, and the client.
Track and control document submittals and approvals, including transmittals and Master Document Registers (MDRs).
Provide technical input for procurement processes and support material take-offs.
Assist in constructability reviews and resolve conflicts between design and field conditions.
Liaise with Quality Control (QC) to ensure technical compliance of installed works.
Support the preparation of method statements and inspection/test plans.
Coordinate technical matters with engineering, planning, and construction teams.
Track technical punch-list items through to their closure.
Support the preparation of as-built drawings and final documentation handover.
Assist the Project Manager with technical reporting and presentations.
Provide technical support during commissioning and handover activities.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in project engineering.
Demonstrated ability to manage technical documentation and coordinate engineering deliverables.
Experience in resolving technical queries and ensuring compliance with design specifications.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. The role requires collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, including site teams, engineering departments, and clients.
