About the Opportunity

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead for a contract position in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for a biotechnology-based protein production facility on behalf of our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for a biotechnology-based protein production facility.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality plans, applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish, implement, and maintain quality management systems, inspection and test plans (ITPs), audit programs, and quality surveillance processes across all project phases, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, construction teams, contractors, equipment vendors, and client representatives to resolve quality issues and close non-conformances.
• Ensure successful project delivery and operational readiness, specifically supporting the delivery of a food-grade manufacturing facility.
• Promote quality excellence, traceability, documentation control, cleanliness standards, and compliance with applicable food, biotechnology, and regulated manufacturing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) roles on industrial capital projects.
• Proven experience working on projects within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of international quality standards, quality management systems, and project quality requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Experience on ATLS projects.
• Experience within food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, fermentation, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting the delivery of food, pharmaceutical, biotech, or GMP-regulated facilities, including quality oversight during construction, commissioning, qualification, and readiness activities.
