Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure repairs and modifications meet technical specifications, project standards, and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used, utilizing inventory management systems.
• Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce unexpected failures.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
• Participate in safety audits and inspections, identifying potential hazards and recommending improvements.
• Support the procurement process by providing input on necessary tools and equipment.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by suggesting solutions and enhancements to workshop practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant technical role.
• Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical issues and troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Experience with inventory management systems and maintaining accurate records.
