About Front End Limited Company

Front End Limited Company delivers precision-driven solutions across the oil, gas, and renewable sectors. Role Overview

The Business Development Director Energy will lead the growth agenda for Front End's Energy portfolio, focusing on revenue expansion across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. This full-time role, based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, involves originating, shaping, and closing major opportunities with national oil companies, government entities, EPC contractors, and industrial operators. The Director will also be responsible for deepening strategic partnerships with Front End's global technology partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the business development strategy for the Energy division across all eight capability areas, including EPC & Project Delivery, Valves, Actuators & Testing, and AI, Optimization & Compliance.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across upstream, midstream, downstream, and renewable/circular-economy segments.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities driven by Saudi Vision 2030 programs, energy transition initiatives, localization (IKTVA) requirements, and giga-projects.
  • Develop and manage executive-level relationships with key accounts such as Saudi Aramco, SABIC, ministries, and other government and industrial stakeholders.
  • Lead capture planning, positioning, and pre-qualification for major tenders and framework agreements.
  • Strengthen and commercialize Front End's exclusive agency and partnership agreements with international technology providers.
  • Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, negotiation, and contract closure for complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project delivery, and operations teams to ensure winnable, deliverable, and profitable solutions.
  • Manage revenue, order intake, and margin targets for the Energy division and report performance to executive leadership.
  • Monitor competitor activity, regulatory developments, and technology trends across relevant markets.
  • Ensure full compliance with company governance, ethics, anti-corruption (TRACE), and client procurement standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
  • 12–15+ years of business development, sales, or commercial leadership experience in the energy sector, including oil & gas services, EPC, drilling, flow control, subsurface/seismic, or energy technology.
  • Proven track record of originating and closing large-value contracts (USD 10M+) with National Oil Companies (NOCs), government entities, or major EPCs in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
  • An established network within Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and the Kingdom’s energy ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of KSA procurement processes, IKTVA/localization requirements, and Vision 2030 energy priorities.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and financial acumen, including P&L or order-intake ownership.
  • Experience representing or commercializing international technology partners/agency lines in the Kingdom is beneficial.
  • Exposure to energy transition domains such as renewables, CCS, waste-to-energy/pyrolysis, AI-driven optimization, or digital oilfield solutions is beneficial.
