Takamul AlOula Facility Management (TOFM), a division of AlKifah Holding, delivers integrated facility management and catering services across Saudi Arabia. This is achieved through its FM operations and the Imdaad catering sector. The company is seeking a Cost Controller to join its Finance team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province.

Role Summary

The Cost Controller will be responsible for monitoring and controlling costs across TOFM's facility management and catering projects. This role involves ensuring accurate project costing and providing analytical support for profitability, budgeting, and operational decision-making. The position is full-time and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly project and contract profitability reports, comparing actual costs against budgets.
• Investigate cost variances and coordinate corrective actions with Operations and Procurement teams.
• Monitor project costs, including manpower, overtime, subcontractors, materials, maintenance, transport, accommodation, and overheads.
• Review catering costs, including food cost, recipe costing, and cost per meal, comparing actual consumption against standard recipes and approved portions to identify wastage.
• Verify purchase requests and purchase orders against approved budgets and cost allocations.
• Ensure expenses are recorded against the correct projects, cost centers, and accounting periods.
• Review inventory reconciliations, stock counts, transfers, and consumption records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, reconciliations, cost allocations, and coordination with external auditors.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and costing for new contracts and tenders.
• Conduct periodic site and kitchen visits to identify cost-saving opportunities and report unusual expenditure or control weaknesses.

Qualifications and Experience

• Nationality: Saudi nationals only.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost control within facility management and/or catering. Catering experience is preferred.
• Skills: Practical experience in project costing, budgeting, variance analysis, and inventory accounting. Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with an ERP system are required.
• Language: Good command of English.
• Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with operational teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• SOCPA registration.
• SAP experience.
• Experience managing costs across multiple projects or locations.
