About the Role

Aon in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to join its Health & Benefits team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time position is responsible for leading and developing the Health & Benefits portfolio across the Eastern Region, while also managing a portfolio of strategic clients. The role focuses on client retention, business growth, service excellence, and team leadership to ensure the successful delivery of H&B solutions and achievement of business objectives.

Client Portfolio Management

  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of major and strategic Health & Benefits clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Lead renewal negotiations and retention strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional services and solutions.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex client issues.
  • Support prospect meetings, client presentations, and tender submissions.
  • Develop growth plans for key clients and strategic accounts.
  • Ensure delivery of exceptional service and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client review meetings and strategic business reviews.
  • Collaborate with insurers, service providers, and internal departments to deliver effective client solutions.
  • Represent the Company in important client meetings and industry events.

Regional and Team Leadership

  • Support the implementation of regional and business strategies.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and drive achievement of revenue, retention, and profitability targets.
  • Ensure consistent service standards across all client accounts within the region.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Account Managers, Account Handlers, and Client Service teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Monitor team performance and support employee development initiatives.
  • Assist in succession planning and talent development within the region.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in key account management, preferably within the Health & Benefits sector or a related professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage strategic client portfolios and drive business growth.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in guiding and developing teams.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Compliance and Performance

The successful candidate will be measured by the achievement of revenue and retention targets, client satisfaction, team engagement, and the quality of service delivery. This includes ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of professional conduct and risk management, and supporting internal audits and compliance reviews as required. The role also involves effective management of insurer and market relationships and successful acquisition of new business opportunities. This position is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is subject to local labor laws and regulations.
