About the Role

Duruper is seeking a Solutions Architect specializing in ELV & ICT Infrastructure for a full-time position in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This role requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on designing and delivering comprehensive ELV and ICT infrastructure solutions for buildings and data centers.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Solutions Architect will serve as the technical lead throughout the project lifecycle. This position involves a blend of technical design and engineering (approximately 70%) and commercial strategy and pre-sales activities (approximately 30%). Key responsibilities include conducting site surveys, developing integrated ELV and ICT infrastructure solutions, and overseeing technical implementation.

• Designing integrated ELV and ICT infrastructure solutions, including Data Center infrastructure, IP-CCTV, Access Control systems, Public Address (PA/PAVA), and Meeting Room AV solutions.
• Performing site surveys and infrastructure assessments, evaluating power, cooling, cabling, and acoustic mapping requirements.
• Preparing High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), riser diagrams, and detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
• Ensuring system interoperability and integration across multiple platforms such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and IoT systems.
• Conducting technical audits to ensure project implementation aligns with approved architectural designs.
• Leading technical pre-sales activities, including solution presentations, Proof of Concept (POC) development, and client technical discussions.
• Supporting tender and RFP submissions with technical solutions and design documentation.
• Optimizing solutions through value engineering to balance technical requirements with project profitability.
• Coordinating with OEM partners and vendors for product selection, pricing negotiations, and technical support.
• Monitoring project progress during implementation to ensure compliance with design standards and specifications.
• Providing technical guidance to project teams and implementation engineers.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (** or Bachelor of Technology (**** in Electronics, Electrical, or IT Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical design or pre-sales roles within system integration projects.
• Experience working with large system integrators or OEM companies such as Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Bosch.
• Strong experience in Data Center infrastructure, including UPS, cooling, and cabling.
• Expertise in IP-CCTV, Access Control Systems, Public Address (PA/PAVA), and Meeting Room AV solutions.
• Proficiency in performing site surveys, solution architecture design, and infrastructure planning.
• A strong understanding of network infrastructure, including Layer 2/3 switching, PoE design, and IP schema planning.

Technical Skills and Certifications

• Mandatory: AutoCAD
• Mandatory: MS Visio
• Preferred: Knowledge of BIM / Revit
• BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer)
• CDCP / CDCS (Certified Data Center Professional / Specialist)
• AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
• Cisco CCNA / CCNP or equivalent networking certification
• OEM certifications from Axis, Honeywell, Bosch, Milestone, or Crestron.
