About the Role
Join Baker Hughes as a Finance Senior Manager – Indirect Tax, where you will lead VAT advisory and compliance across the MENAT region. We are looking for an experienced individual who is eager to be part of a global tax team.

Key Responsibilities

• VAT Advisory & Strategy: Provide expert VAT advisory support, assess implications of business initiatives, and advise on legislative changes.
• VAT Compliance & Reporting: Oversee VAT filings and ensure compliance with regulations.
• VAT Refund Management: Lead VAT refund processes and optimize cash flow.
• Tax Authority Engagement: Serve as the point of contact for VAT audits and inquiries.
• Leadership Reporting: Prepare VAT dashboards and reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax Law or related field; certifications like CTA, CPA, ACCA are advantageous.
• 8+ years of VAT experience, particularly in the MENAT region.
• Experience with Big 4 firms or regional tax authorities is a strong recommendation.
• Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and strong English communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
