Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation activities to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Monitor and analyze transportation metrics to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate dispatch and delivery operations.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Assist in route planning to minimize costs and improve delivery times.
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to address any issues related to transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and documentation.
- Support the Transportation Supervisor in implementing process improvements and policies.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, and SLA requirements with the ability to ensure proper shipment sequencing and timely deliveries.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Diploma or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
