Job PurposeYour role as an English Teacher is crucial in ensuring student success and helping them reach their full potential by implementing the SABIS® curriculum and philosophy through consistent use of our teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach a class using provided lesson plans and develop lesson plans as needed.
- Mark exams related to the taught subject in accordance with the department's schedule.
- Discuss student performance and disciplinary issues with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD).
- Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Provide support to academically low-performing students.
- Participate in student life events and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Engage in professional development sessions to enhance teaching efficacy.
Ideal Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent.
- Proficient in English.
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
- Strong communication skills and ethical conduct.
- Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement and accountability.
