About the Position

Role Overview

The appointed Associate Professor will be responsible for leading design studios, guiding practical projects, and maintaining international standards in design education. This role requires a commitment to both teaching and scholarly research within the fields of Architecture and Interior Design.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction and oversee design studios and laboratories, with English as the medium of instruction.
• Develop project-based learning modules and ensure curriculum alignment with NCAAA and relevant international accreditation standards.
• Engage in continuous academic research, including the production of creative works and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Provide academic mentorship to students, guiding them in portfolio development and final graduation projects.
• Collaborate with industry partners to integrate real-world design challenges into the academic curriculum.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A PhD in Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, or an equivalent discipline is mandatory.
• Applicants must hold a PhD from a university ranked within the Top 400 (Shanghai Ranking), Top 300 (Times Higher Education), or Top 200 (QS World University Rankings) to meet institutional excellence standards.
• Professional fluency in English is required.
