About the Attendant Pool Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Attendant Pool for a full-time position in Dammam, Eastern Region. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and safety of pool areas and promoting a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Attendant Pool is responsible for ensuring the pool and its surrounding areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests. This includes:

  • Cleaning and maintaining the edges of the swimming pool.
  • Promoting a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere for guests through positive and enthusiastic conduct.
  • Monitoring activities within leisure facilities and responding to emergencies according to local procedures.
  • Enforcing rules and regulations for the leisure facilities.
  • Identifying guests who may not be able to participate safely in an activity and informing a manager or supervisor.
  • Assisting injured guests until medical assistance arrives, if necessary.
  • Collecting, folding, and storing towels according to company procedures.
  • Reporting accidents, injuries, and any hazardous working conditions to management.
  • Participating in required safety training and obtaining necessary certifications.

Adherence to Policies and Professionalism

Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to company policies are crucial aspects of this role. This includes:

  • Following and applying all chain safety policies and procedures.
  • Reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
  • Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Respecting the confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets.
  • Supporting colleagues with dignity and respect, and contributing to team objectives.
  • Complying with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements and Abilities

This role requires the ability to perform various physical tasks. Candidates should be able to:

  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds (* kg) without assistance.
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines for defects.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems.
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Reach for objects overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Navigate sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
  • Ascend and descend service stairs and ramps.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by managers that are consistent with the position.
