About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Attendant Pool to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position with no disclosed salary. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Core Responsibilities

The Attendant Pool is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the pool area. This includes cleaning and scrubbing the surrounding environment to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for guests. A key aspect of the role involves fostering a positive and relaxing environment by maintaining an optimistic and enthusiastic attitude during guest interactions and recreational activities.

• Observe activities within recreational facilities and respond appropriately to emergencies according to established operating procedures.
• Promote and enforce the rules and regulations of the recreational facilities.
• Identify situations where guests may be at risk and inform a supervisor or manager.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Manage the handling of towels, including taking, folding, and stacking them according to company procedures.

Operational Duties and Safety Compliance

Adherence to all company safety and policy procedures is mandatory. This includes reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries. Completion of required safety training and certifications is also essential. The role involves physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds (** kg) without assistance. Additionally, the attendant must be able to read and visually inspect equipment, enter and locate work-related information using computer systems, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Performing tasks that involve reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, and moving through various spaces, including stairs and confined areas, is also part of the job.

Professional Conduct and Teamwork

Maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance is required. The attendant must protect company assets and maintain the privacy of proprietary information. Supporting co-workers with dignity and respect, and contributing to common goals through teamwork, are important aspects of the role. Meeting quality assurance expectations and standards is also a key responsibility.

Qualifications and Certifications

Candidates are required to possess a high school diploma or an equivalent certificate from a General Educational Development (GED) program. No prior related work experience or supervisory experience is required for this position. Essential certifications include CPR Certification and First Aid Certification. Any additional certifications or training mandated by local and state agencies are also necessary.
