Civil Estimation Engineer JIS

About the Opportunity

MM Management Consultant is seeking a Civil Estimation Engineer to join one of its prestigious clients in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, specifically in Dammam. This full-time role requires an individual with 2-5 years of experience in civil estimation.

Role Overview

The Civil Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for various civil activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role involves comprehensive review of project documentation and close coordination with multiple internal teams to support bid preparation and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and contract conditions.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Estimate labor, material, equipment, subcontract, and indirect costs.
• Prepare estimates for earthworks, trenching, concrete works, HDD/micro-tunneling, valve chambers, and related civil activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and project teams during bid preparation.
• Prepare commercial proposals, bid summaries, and cost comparison sheets.
• Support budget reviews, change orders, and claim evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and SEC standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in civil estimation.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimations.
• Familiarity with industry standards, including those of Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and SEC.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a project-focused environment, collaborating with various technical and project teams.
