Construction Engineer

About the Role

Samsung E&A Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Engineer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for managing and optimizing construction processes within complex refinery and petrochemical projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient project execution and enhancing operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage EPC construction activities, demonstrating expertise in both piping and civil construction, with a focus on hands-on project execution.
• Lead and coordinate with India-based support teams, ensuring seamless communication and bridging gaps between project sites and remote support.
• Identify and analyze field-related issues, proposing and implementing system enhancements to drive overall operational efficiency.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience as a System Engineer within Refinery & Petrochemical projects, specifically in FEED or EPC phases.
• Proven experience in at least two Refinery & Petrochemical projects, covering either FEED or EPC stages.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in both Piping and Civil Construction Management.

Essential Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competence in Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
• Familiarity with UPV systems.
• Experience utilizing Palantir platforms.
