About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Cook II to join its culinary team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position offers an opportunity for individuals with 0-1 years of experience to learn and develop their culinary skills while contributing to guest experiences.

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high culinary standards and ensuring guest satisfaction through attention to detail. You will work with a dedicated team, preparing dishes according to established recipes and menus, and contributing to seasonal menu creations and presentations. Your efforts will directly impact the guest dining experience and encourage repeat visits.

• Prepare fresh ingredients and cook them according to recipes or menus.
• Cook food and prepare dishes of superior quality within the prescribed time.
• Test dishes to verify preparation and temperature.
• Use kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent teamwork skills and a remarkable attention to detail, coupled with a positive mindset and outgoing personality. Previous kitchen experience is considered a significant asset.

• High school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is recommended.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No specific permits or certifications are required prior to starting, however, training and a safety certificate will be required before commencing the position.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lb (11 kg). It also involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Maintaining a neat professional appearance in a clean uniform is essential.
