About alfanar and the Role

alfanar, a company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, operates construction and manufacturing businesses, design & development centers, and various facilities across the Middle East and other regions. The company is involved in electrical, electromechanical, and civil engineering construction, as well as the manufacturing and marketing of electrical construction products and allied engineering services. This full-time position for an ENGINEER, QA / QC ELECTRICAL is based in Dammam.

Role Context and Purpose

This role is within alfanar Construction, a Grade I contractor recognized by the Contractors Classification Committee of the Government of Saudi Arabia. As an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company, alfanar Construction focuses on the Energy, Infrastructure, and Engineering Services sectors. The QA/QC Electrical Engineer will contribute to ensuring that projects meet established quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure quality requirements are met by developing effective quality control processes and specifications for products, processes, and related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and identify opportunities for automation.
• Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
• Delegate tasks to subordinates for respective assignments.
• Ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation of subordinates.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Resolve related problems that arise and escalate complex operational issues.

Management and Team Development

• Oversee the training of subordinates and the formation of effective teams.
• Foster a motivated and efficient team environment through equitable task distribution.

Qualifications and Experience

This role requires an experienced professional with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within the electrical engineering field.

Work Environment and Location

The position is full-time and located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. alfanar Construction's core EPC activities span Power and Water Projects, Transmission and Distribution Projects, Building Construction (Industrial & Commercial) Projects, and Electro-Mechanical projects.
