About the Role

NOV is seeking a Field Coordinator to join our team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to ensuring the operational readiness and compliance of equipment used in solids control operations. The Field Coordinator will manage critical processes related to equipment certification, calibration, and inspection.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Field Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure all equipment, tools, lifting accessories, and calibrated instruments are properly certified, calibrated, fit for purpose, and available prior to deployment. This role involves continuous monitoring of certification and calibration validity, maintaining comprehensive compliance records, and ensuring the correct tools and equipment are utilized in accordance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage equipment certification, ensuring all assets, tools, and lifting gear maintain valid certifications in accordance with company, client, and regulatory requirements, including verification prior to mobilization and dispatch.
  • Oversee calibration management for measuring, monitoring, and testing equipment, coordinating activities with approved service providers, and maintaining accurate calibration tracking systems and records.
  • Coordinate periodic, pre-use, and statutory inspections of equipment, lifting accessories, and tools, reviewing reports and ensuring timely resolution of identified deficiencies.
  • Maintain a centralized database of certification, calibration, and inspection records, ensuring all compliance documentation is accurate, controlled, and readily available for deployment and audits.
  • Monitor equipment compliance status, proactively identify upcoming requirements, develop renewal schedules to prevent lapses, and escalate potential issues affecting operational readiness.
  • Support internal, external, and client audits by providing required documentation and compliance evidence, ensuring full traceability and lifecycle management of records.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in logistics, dispatching, or a related role, with preference given to candidates with experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining equipment certification databases and coordinating third-party inspections and audits.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of equipment certification requirements, inspection standards, lifting equipment regulations, and compliance management systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to monitor certification expiry dates and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and dispatching software and tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices specific to the oil and gas industry.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active coordination across various internal and external teams to maintain operational excellence and ensure continuous compliance with industry standards.
