The Junior Surveyor Role

This full-time Junior Surveyor position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region. The role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in the field. As a Junior Surveyor, you will contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects by providing accurate site measurements, executing setting out works, and diligently maintaining survey records. Your efforts will ensure that construction activities are performed in strict accordance with design requirements, while also adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out topographic, construction, and as-built surveys.
• Perform site measurements, setting out, and level checks.
• Operate surveying equipment, including Total Stations, GPS, and levels.
• Accurately record, process, and maintain survey data.
• Verify dimensions, elevations, and coordinates against project drawings.
• Support senior surveyors in daily site activities.
• Coordinate with site engineers and construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe work practices.

Technical Skills and Equipment Proficiency

The role requires practical ability in operating various surveying instruments, including Total Stations, GPS, and levels. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in recording, processing, and maintaining survey data with precision. A key aspect of this position involves verifying project dimensions, elevations, and coordinates against detailed engineering and architectural drawings.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in surveying or a related construction field.
• Demonstrated capability to perform fundamental site measurement and setting out tasks.
• Understanding and adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and safe work practices.
