About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for a full-time position in Dammam, Eastern Province. This role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in mechanical assembly, focusing on gas turbine components.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for the accurate and safe assembly, disassembly, and inspection of gas turbine components. This position requires strict adherence to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards, alongside a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Collaboration with engineering, quality, and operations teams is essential to ensure product performance, reliability, and delivery requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of gas turbine components and modules, including rotors, casings, combustors, blades, vanes, bearings, and auxiliary systems, following engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, torque wrenches, and feeler gauges to verify tolerances and clearances.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly procedures.
• Execute documented processes for bolting, torquing, alignment, and component fit-up.
• Conduct component inspections and accurately document results according to quality and traceability requirements.
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving non-conformances or assembly issues.
• Strictly adhere to all safety procedures, including those for lifting, rigging, and handling heavy or sensitive components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with site standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and other technicians to ensure correct assembly and schedule adherence.
• Support disassembly, inspection, and reassembly activities during overhauls and repairs.
• Complete required documentation, checklists, and electronic records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Comply with all company policies, environmental regulations, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical background in mechanical or electrical assembly.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
