About the Role

Dammam Airports is seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist to manage and administer onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition and integration for new hires. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, and requires 5-10 years of experience.

Recruitment Administration

The specialist will be responsible for compiling candidate documentation, liaising with recruiters, and ensuring new hire files are complete and in order. This includes coordinating with hiring managers and recruiters regarding candidate arrival dates, providing updates on onboarding arrangements, and confirming arrival schedules. Proactive communication regarding any delays, advancements, or cancellations in candidate arrivals is essential. Feedback on the new joiner experience will be shared with recruiters to recommend enhancements to the overall recruitment process.

Onboarding Program Management

This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive onboarding programs. Key responsibilities include coordinating and conducting orientation sessions to introduce new employees to Dammam Airports’ culture and values, developing and managing onboarding checklists and schedules, and providing ongoing support and guidance to new hires during their initial period. The specialist will monitor new hire progress, address any concerns, and collect feedback from both new hires and hiring managers to continuously improve the onboarding process.

Candidate Experience and Communication

Ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding phases is a core function. This includes promptly addressing candidate inquiries, maintaining clear and consistent communication, and implementing strategies to enhance the candidate journey based on feedback and industry best practices.

Compliance and Reporting

The Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist must ensure all recruitment and onboarding activities adhere to legal and organizational standards. This includes preparing and presenting reports on recruitment and onboarding metrics to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Professional Development

Coordination with HR teams is vital for a smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding. The specialist will provide regular updates to senior management on activities and is expected to pursue continuous learning through feedback, training, and staying informed on industry trends. Participation in team meetings and discussions, offering insights and suggestions for process improvement, is also a key aspect of this role.
